The US Department of Agriculture Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is part of the National School Lunch Act, which offers infants, pre-school and school age children healthy meals and snacks. CACFP is significant to improve the quality of daycare and to make it affordable for may low income families. Children age 12 and younger are eligible to receive up to two meals and one snack, each day at a family daycare home. Qualified
