Celebrate Virginia Farm to School week and National Farm to School month on October 4, 2016!   Show your support for Farm2Childcare! Virginia schools, early care, families and other organizations across the state will “crunch” into a Virginia Grown apple or other locally grown item at 10 A.M. to raise awareness about the importance of childhood nutrition, access to healthy fruits and vegetables and supporting Virginia farmers.

We hope to have thousands of preschoolers, students, parents, families, businesses, health care workers, public officials and people of all ages across the Commonwealth crunch into an apple at lunch time to show their support for healthy eating and to celebrate Virginia agriculture.
