Eligibility requirements: Any ostomate, his relatives and/or friends are welcome to join the Peninsula Ostomy Assoc. as well as professionals.
Intake Procedure: Telephone referral; physician referral required for some services.
Area Served: Hampton, the association will welcome members from Gloucester, Mathews, Middlesex, and Williamsburg/James City Co.

About the program:
Serves as an all volunteer, non-profit organization sponsored by the American Cancer Society to aid the physical and emotional adjustment of persons who may require or have undergone the surgery of a colostomy, ileostomy, ileal bladder, or ureterostomy.
