About the program:
Provides planning, delivery, and evaluation of the City's human services and public assistance programs. The Director's Office provides administration and management services
to the operating units of the Department, coordinates grant opportunities for the City in the area of human services, and staffs a number of citizen advisory groups. The
Department also provides program management for the four Multi-Service Centers which house a variety of public and voluntary human service activities. See also Norfolk
