About the program:
Provides an organization whose primary purpose is the advancement of the education of exceptional children and youth, disabled and gifted, through the provision of CEC publications, information services, and professional development activities (conferences, conventions). SERVICES PROVIDED: The primary service is providing library/information services to professionals, parents and others interested in the education of disabled and gifted children, professional training, advocacy for children and youth with disabilities and or gifted and talented. ADMINISTRATIVE AFFILIATIONS: International Council for Exceptional Children, its delegate assembly and board of governors.
