About the program:
Investigates citizen complaints regarding blocking of road crossings, blowing of whistles and numerous other problems. Investigates repair of public and private road crossings, and makes recommendations to the Commissioners when required. Inspects railroad tracks and bridges in cooperation with the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) to ensure safe movement of freight and passengers throughout the state in compliance with FRA Track Safety Standards.
