About the program:
Gives support to and motivates at-risk economically disadvantaged young adults to become productive members of their communities. The program teaches life/pre-employability skills; assists participants in finding employment; enrolls participants into GED classes and assists them with tutorial sessions; and, exposes them to various cultural and social events. Most participants will be juvenile offenders referred through the various court service units. The program also attempts to have youth, family and community work together in improving relationships with each other.
