About the program:
Provides a department of state government concerned with labor standards and practices, wage collection, minimum wage, child labor, garnishees, and investigates complaints and grievances related to labor laws. SERVICES PROVIDED: Agency is concerned with labor standards and protective legislation regarding wage collection, minimum wage, child labor, and garnishees. Agency has the authority to enforce Virginia State laws dealing directly with child labor laws and payroll requirements, garnishment laws and the right to work law. Agency takes complaints and grievances related to the laws referred to above, and an investigator works in the field to maintain said laws.
