About the program:
Provides a school operated by a non-profit hospital offering students education and training in practical nursing. The course offered by the school is one year in length.
The first 4 months are devoted mainly to classroom instruction, the remaining 8 months are spent in supervised experience with patients in the hospital situation. The student
will work a 5 day-40 hour week. Upon completing the course the graduate is eligible to take the National Commission Licensing Examination in Nursing (NCLEX) for Licensure as a
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
