About the program:
Provides teacher training in the Montessori philosophy and method as applied in early childhood education. Ten-month course awards diploma to successful graduates which qualifies them to be lead teacher in Montessori schools worldwide. National American Society teaching certificate is also issued. ELIGIBILITY: Students must be able to physically work with young children. Students can obtain VISA for course duration through optional univeristy credits offered in the programs. FEES: Fee is approximately $3000 (books, registration, and exams inclusive). Agency has a monthly payment plan. Also, there is the Excel-Payment deferral (borrow total amount and then pay interest only till course ends. Thereafter, make regular monthly payments. MEETING INFORMATION: Classes are held on the Virginia Beach Campus of Tidewater Community College.
