About the program:
Provides some emergency financial assistance for rent and utilities when funds are available to those who qualify. Also offers food services to those in need through bag lunches and a food pantry. Hot showers and clothing are also available. Homeless persons may bring their clothes for washing once a week; they must sign up for this and five loads of clothes are washed everyday, Monday through Friday. Agency will also provide assistance in obtaining birth certificates for the homeless by sending for and paying for the documentation. Transportation to the DMV (Wednesday at 11:00AM) as well as payment for Identification Cards may also be available. Persons in need of work shoes may receive these here if the individual proves that he/she has a job and the agency has any work shoes of the correct size on hand. All services depend upon availability of funds.
