About the program:
Provides information and referral; education, prevention and short-term counseling to military personnel and family members in the areas of personal and family adjustment,
finances, relocation and employment.
SERVICES PROVIDED: Classes and individual assistance in job search, resume writing and interviewing skills, local job listings and computerized nationwide job banks.
Counseling Services Include: Crisis intervention and short-term, situational counseling (6 sessions), information on community resources. Relocation Services include:
Household items (cots, cribs, kitchen items) available for loan during moves and also for guest use (small fee for latter use). INFORMATION SERVICES INCLUDE: Local & national
resource. FINANCIAL COUNSELING SERVICES INCLUDE: Education (Classes and individual) including personal financial management, car buying, avoiding consumer fraud, etc. OTHER
SERVICES INCLUDE: Classes and information on parenting, couples communication, anger management and stress management, also relocation information and assistance.
