About the program:
Provides a service that specializes in parent initiated adoptions. Most people who work with this agency are pursuing parental placement adoptions within Virginia or between
this state and another state. The agency also has a specialized program for those seeking international adoption. Services include orientation (general information about
parent initiated adoption), the application process, education and training, home study, placement and supervision of placement. Free pregnancy counseling is offered to any
person facing an unplanned pregnancy. Referral is made for services available in the community. Pre- and post-adoption counseling are available to birth parents.
