Intake Procedure: Telephone referral, written application and specific documents. Must sighe ACCESS Challenge agreement in ninth grade.
Area Served: Norfolk, Portsmouth and Virginia Beach.

About the program:
ACCESS provides assistance to students in each of the public high schools in Norfolk and Portsmouth, along with two schools in Virginia beach and to schools in Chesapeake. ACCESS advisors begin working with students in ninth grade to ensure students believe they are able to attend college is they work hard. FUNDING: ACCESS is funded entirely through private donations from local individuals and corporations and charges nor fees.
