About the program:
Provides fire protection and ambulance service for area residents. DIRECTORY: The City of Hampton, composed of 57 square miles, is the primary area of service for the department. However, there is a mutual aid agreement with all surrounding communities, military, and other federal installations. SERVICES: The Hampton Fire Deptartment provides fire protection, prevention, control, investigation, and extinction. It also provides emergency medical care and first aid services with their ambulances and resuscitation devices, this applying to people. Additional services include community education of non-health subjects, programs, and exhibits. In the preservation of life concern, the department also provides water rescue and evacuation. Ambulance service is available at all times. There is a full time training officer and training program.
