BUSINESS/SERVICE HOURS: The coverage of the hotline Monday-Sunday is 6:00PM to 6:00AM.
ELIGIBILITY: Services are extended to adolescents, under age 19 years, and to their families.
FEES: Fees are charged for clinical services. Fees are also charged for staff training for other agencies. Financial aid is available. Champus and some other insurance
accepted.
SERVICES PROVIDED: Bacon Street is a community-based center, that provides young people with alternatives to problems. Its basic goal is to promote a community free of
substance abuse. To accomplish this goal Bacon Street utilizes a broad preventative program. The agency's services include adolescent and family counseling, community
education, school based prevention and early intervention programs, and a drop-in center. Although, specifically, the Bacon Street programs are oriented toward young people
and their families, this agency encourages the participation of all people who work with adolescents and anyone in the communuty who is interested in their services.
OTHER COMMENTS: Students from any college may do their practicum work at Bacon Street.
