About the program:
Promotes active participation of citizens in government; informs the public of important public policy issues; registers people to vote. LEAGUE OFFICERS: VICE PRESIDENT: Edie Meyers 220-8429. SECRETARY: Anne Treichler TREASURER: Barb Worthen ELIGIBILITY: Any person who subscribes to the purpose and policy of the league shall be eligible for membership. Regardless of gender non-partisan-not for profit. SERVICES PROVIDED: This chapter's services are divided into 3 administrative areas: program study of issues that can be affected by governmental action; voter service area which provides information to the electorate on voting procedures, the issues, and the candidates who are running for office. They also help with voter registration; the third administrative area deals with membership.
