Provides a proprietary school offering grades K-6. FEES: $35, registration fee; $25, testing fee; $350/month, Preschoolers 2 1/2 to 4; $350/month, Pre-K; $360/month, Kindergarten; $375/month, 1st thru 6th grade. 10% discount for 2nd child. SERVICES PROVIDED: The McLea School offers a regular kindergarten program. Grade school is offered to the sixth grade. The school provides a balanced day of instruction, plan and study. Training in all subjects is geared to each individual child's abilities. Phonics texts are used and considered an essential phase in the development of the ability to read and spell. All subjects are taught using modern methods correlated with the old. Parents are encouraged to discuss the textbooks and methods of teaching with the teachers. Music is considered a very important part of a student's training. French is taught beginning in kindergarten.
