About the program:
Provides a special interest organization promoting health services and health education. ELIGIBILITY: Membership is restricted to the spouses, mothers, and unmarried sisters of the physicians in the medical society. SERVICES PROVIDED: Works with communities in health services and health educaiton; active in international health projects; donates to the American Medical Association Education and Research Fund; provides funds to assist the Northampton and Accomack Memorial Hospitals and their projects; makes donations to the Medical College of Virginia, The University of Virginia, and the Eastern Virginia Medical School. These donations are made through the American Medical Association Education and Research Fund, not directly from this organization to the schools.
