About the program:
Provides a mentoring program for teens who are having babies for the first time. The program seeks to improve the birth weight and infant mortality rates among pregnant teens in the community. It also stresses the importance of staying in school, delaying repeat pregnancies and developing parental skills, which are necessary for all participants.
