About the program:
Provides information on educational planning, financial aid application assistance, career guidance, and course curriculum to individuals entering and/or returning to college. Agency provides career decision workshops and college success workshops, as well as, career assistance and interest inventories. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Agency's services include the following: referrals to GED and ABE providers, information on colleges and universities, specific information on courses and programs of study, admissions procedures, financial aid information, career planning and counseling, interest and aptitude testing, optional computerized Virginia View Career Planning assistance with admissions and financial aid forms, follow-up services to improve and support retention, and referrals to Human Service Agencies to supplement supportive services, i.e. child care and transportation. There is a resource library available.
