About the program:
Offers victim advocacy services which include placement in emergency shelter for persons in imminent danger, counseling, referral, safety planning and crisis intervention; provides free legal representation in the securing of emergency, preliminary and permanent protective orders by staff attorneys. Also provides immediate response to domestic violence victims in times of crisis; adult and child therapeutic support groups and community education on domestic violence, date rape, sexual assault and domestic violence in the workplace, etc. OTHER PERSONNEL: Virginia Diggs, Board Chairman.
