About the program:
Provides all school health services and functions. Provides a referral authority for medically indigent school-age patients to Norfolk Health Department Dental Clinic, and
Crippled Children's Bureau Clinic. Public health nurses and school health assistants provide first aid, screening, counseling, skilled nursing care and general assistance.
Areas such as school environmental health, safety and cafeteria worker training are included in the services.
