About the program:
Provides pre-vocational work adjustment and supportive employment services to persons with disabilities. These services include, but are not limited to: Vocational Assessment-to identify vocational strengths, visits to various work sites in the community to explore employment options; Job Placement services-usually competitive employment; On-Site Work Training-customized training assistance at the work site by a job coach; Behavior Training-behavioral and social skills training as necessary; Ongoing Employer Contact-to support and encourage any changes; Follow-Up Support Services encourages growth, stabilization, and advocacy, and continued referral to community resources. Also offers life skills training to promote independent living, job placement assistance, and a psychosocial day program for persons with brain injury.
