Provides year round recreational programming in youth and adult sports and instructional activities; operates and staffs but does not maintain seven county parks and waterfront beach; serves in a modified "harbor master" capacity for the Yorktown Waterfront and cruise lines; staffs the County Arts Commission, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and Youth Commission.
