Eligibility requirements: Low income residents of Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Isle of Wight and Southampton County.
Intake Procedure: Telephone screening for eligibility; applicant may then meet with housing counselor & provide documents of need.
Area Served: Cities of Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk & Counties of Isle of Wight & Southampton

About the program:
Provides financial assistance for rent, mortgage and/or utilities, including security deposits, when needed, to avert eviction or end homelessness. Financial crisis must be temporary and unavoidable. Household must have means to be self-sufficient once assistance is terminated.
