Provides urban youth from culturally diverse backgrounds (of junior high & high school ages) opportunities for their academic, personal and social development; assists young people in developing long term goals and strategies which will lead to productive adult life experiences; grooms future leaders by developing communication and decision making skills as well as civic responsibility; involves youth in active and sustained community service projects they develop and execute to improve the conditions of their neighborhoods.
