About the program:
Provides individual, group and family counseling, and education for a variety of problems. Program offers expertise with the effects of trauma, such as sexual abuse, family violence, childhood abuse; family, parent/child and marital problems. A wide range of group therapies is available and includes: Adults Molested as Children, men's issues, couples, compulsive overeaters, violence prevention, shoplifters, and anger management. ADOLESCENT ANGER MANAGEMENT: Adolescent group sessions for youth who are on probation are held at various field offices of the Juvenile Court Service Units. Sessions meet two times a week for six weeks. Each group has up to twelve participants. The goal is to develop appropriate behavior managemnet skills in each youth thereby reducing the use of violence when a youth encounters a crisis situation. CONFIDENTIALITY: Maintained.
