About the program:
Provides a worker that will refer, advocate, and link client's identified in need of services through Norfolk Public Schools to the Community Assessment Team (CAT). That is the review board for clients that meet the criteria of receiving service through the funding pools of the Comprehensive Services Act (CSA). It also serves as a link and monitor of the appropriateness of services and the family's progress with all services. Upon the termination of service through the CAT, NIC, and NPS families are linked to local community resources for further services.
