About the program:
Provides on-going assistance to lower income households, including the elderly, handicapped or disabled. The amount of assistance is based on families' income. Families find their own housing which must be inspected and rent for within rent limit. Eligible families and individuals must first get on the waiting list for assistance. The waiting list is usually open for 1 month each year.
