About the program:
Provides non-medical caregivers who offer companionship services and home helper services to seniors enabling them to remain independent in their homes. Caregivers have been screened through a criminal check and are bonded. Companionship services include: medication reminders, meal planning, preparation and clean-up, reading, assist w/walking, care of house plants, etc. Home helper services include: light housekeeping, laundry and ironing, changing linens and making the bed, general shopping and grocery shopping, escort to appointments, incidental transportation, etc.
